I guess if I lived 14,000 years it just wouldn't happen, at 4 or 500 years old, I'd really want to die... Eternal life would be the worst curse on earth, just think about it...
I haven't downloaded this, but I bought on DVD and I just have to say that this film is awesome! Magnificently written with an intelligent and actually somewhat plausible premiss. Watch it!
C'mon.... It's fun as a SF story and it is well done, BUT the idea is ridiculous, thinking someone can live 14,000 years is like believing in perpetual motion or in vampires with eternal life.... His academic friends were quite stupid really, if I had been there I would just corner him into precise descriptions of certain times and places he'd been and then press him for details, as soon as he slipped into mistakes, the game would be up....
